E.C. Lua is an international trainer and consultant, specializing in Six Sigma, Quality Engineering, and Statistical Methods. He has more than 17 years of working experience in consulting, production engineering, quality engineering and management from both Japanese and American multinational companies. Drawing from his working experience in various industries and management cultures, he is well known for his ability to approach the implementation of quality engineering techniques and six sigma methodology in many different and unique situations.
He regularly conducts courses and provides consulting support to well known organizations such as Ericsson, Sony-Ericsson, National Semiconductor, Western Digital and Westin Green Point in Malaysia, China & Europe. He has trained hundreds of Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts who delivered great projects with millions of dollar in hard savings.
E.C. Lua has extensive experience in the applications of quality engineering and statistical tools in semiconductors, telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. He is the consultant for Ericsson Supplier Academy in Asia Pacific since 1999. He holds a bachelor degree in Physics, a master degree in applied statistics and a MBA in Total Quality Management. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Quality Engineer from American Society of Quality (ASQ).
